Dubai is one of the most written-about cities on earth — and somehow most of that writing is either glossy hotel PR, outdated guidebook entries, or SEO content farms recycling the same 10 things to do.
Totally Dubai exists to be the thing we wished existed when we first started researching the city. A real directory. A complete index. Honest descriptions of what things are actually like, built to grow into the most thorough, well-organised Dubai resource available.
We're not affiliated with the Dubai tourism board, any hotel group, or any tour operator. We don't accept payment for listings or recommendations. We're building this because Dubai deserves it — and because travellers deserve better than what currently exists.
§ 01 — How we work
§ 02 — The index
The current site covers all 8 departments at a hub level. The next phase expands each into full sub-page depth: individual hotel profiles (one page per property), individual district guides, single-activity pages, restaurant profiles, and event listings.
We're also building out a resident's section — information relevant to people living in Dubai rather than just visiting: neighbourhoods for long-term stays, schools, healthcare, bureaucracy guides. Dubai is a city most people come to for a week; it's also a city 3.7 million people call home.
