The TATS News Team is the human-checked, AI-assisted desk responsible for travel developments that can change a trip. For Dubai, that includes visa and immigration updates, airline and airport changes, transport projects, attraction closures, major openings, events, tourism rules and other developments worth a traveller's attention.
AI helps with discovery, document analysis, source comparison, translation, monitoring and drafting. Human editors decide whether a story is worth covering, check the important facts, add context and make the final publishing call.
For high-impact information we aim to trace claims back to reliable and preferably primary sources: UAE and Dubai authorities, immigration agencies, transport operators, airports, airlines, official organisers and direct statements. Local reporting can add context, but official confirmation matters when the consequence for a traveller is real.
When facts are not confirmed, the story should say so. When a situation changes, the page should be updated rather than left frozen in the version that first ranked in search.
